This has become a serious problem as I'm sleeping through my alarms, missing a lot of text notifications, and having issues with working as a delivery driver. The only thing I haven't tried yet is factory resetting the phone, but I'd like to check all my options for doing that. Restarting the phone will fix it temporarily but after a couple hours it usually goes back to silent. The only way I can even tell it's in this silent mode is when I swipe the drop down from the top and the black bar says silent. I went through all the sound and notification settings and nothing is set to silent.

It is pretty easy and simple to do however I believe the second set of button pressing configuration may not work the first few times because it needed to b done just so. To keep your screen off and phone quiet when you dont want interruptions, like at night, use Do Not Disturb settings. That my friends is the bootloader loop I had that happen on two phones both Motorolas and they told me there was nothing they could do that I had to yet but another phone even though I had just done 2 wks prior due to the other one having same issue!
